Easy to use...

The instructions below are written for the StegoStik secure USB flash drive, but
the StegoDrive works in exactly the same way. Each product comes with a
credit card sized user instructions card, plus basic on-screen help.

SIX EASY STEPS

1.
Insert StegoStik
2. Run StegoStik.exe
3. Enter passphrase
4. Drag and drop files
5. File operations
6. Remove StegoStik
DRAG AND DROP FILES

• StegoStik's intuitive interface lets you move files
onto and off of your StegoStik in a similar way to
other Windows applications.

• Drag and drop, or copy and paste files. They
are automatically encrypted and decrypted.

• Also, under the 'Edit' menu are the options to 'Add
file...' or 'Extract file...' by browsing to a location.

• Directory structures are automatically copied to
and from the StegoStik. You can also create a new
folder directly on the StegoStik using the icon or
menu option.

Troubleshooting
• Outlook mail attachments
• Problems with drag and drop

Geek info
• StegoStiks are designed for transporting data
securely between trusted PCs. They may leave
traces when used.

• If you copy a file that is on the StegoStik, a
decrypted copy is placed on the Windows clipboard
and made available to other applications. This copy
is stored in a temporary directory (based on the
GetTempPath function) and deleted (but not
shredded) when you exit the StegoStik application.

• Encryption is done by software in memory; there
is no hardware assistance. Data on the StegoStik
and the USB port are always encrypted.

• Encryption is 256-bit AES using a key taken from
a SHA1 hash of the passphrase. Both algorithms
are sourced from a third party.
